Everything was exceptional. We received a very warm welcome. Everything felt incredibly cosy and warm. The rooms were beautiful and the hosts were so friendly and attentive. The WiFi is great, bed is comfortable and the the outside offers a variety of seating options. We were very happy.

Blueberry Cottage is ideally located in the quiet and beautiful rural setting surrounded by farmland. The cottages are all being renovated top to bottom with new mattresses and a mixture of old and new furniture for an eclectic cottage vibe. . The atmosphere is one of stepping back in time. Perfect for a family - one bedroom featuring a double bed and a second bedroom with bunk beds with a single bunk over a double bunk - ideal for children. There is a large sitting area outside of the cottage some of which is covered and free use of the BBQ and furniture. There is also a shared use hot tub that is wood fired with massage jets. This holiday home includes 2 bedrooms, a living room/ kitchenette and a flat-screen TV, The small but fully equipped kitchen has everything you would need plus a small dining area. One shower room and towels and bed linen are provided free of charge. Things to note. This cottage is small. It is more like a tiny home with two bedrooms but please note it is a small size at 52 sqm total. We are very rural so the nearest store is 1.5 km away and the nearest town is a 12 minute drive. Do not rent this if you are looking for walkable facilities. Limerick is 44 km from the holiday home, while Ennis is 28 km away. The nearest airport is Shannon Airport, 25 km from us. Set on almost 2 acres with an orchard that you are welcome to pick fruit and herbs.
Your hosts are passionate about making your stay the best it can be. Lorraine and Keith live on site and will be happy to pick up items for you if need be as well as recommend things locally and give directions. Lorraine spent many years in the travel industry and the last 20 in Canada and Keith is Canadian and loving living in Ireland.
Safe, welcoming and a stunning area surrounded by farmland. This location is absolutely perfect for touring. The ideal place to use as a base while visiting the south of Ireland. 15 minutes to the ferry to take you to county kerry. Only a 15 minute drive to the heritage town of Kilrush is the second largest town in Clare, a historically important market town, lies on the Shannon estuary and has a busy marina. Catch a boat there to visit Scattery Island with its outstanding collection of stone monuments. Other activities include dolphin watching tours on the Shannon Estuary. Traditional music; set dancing enthusiasts enjoy the music in the local pubs and the festivals taking place in summer Services: Super Markets, Shops, Pubs, Restaurants, Pharmacies, Post Office, Bank, Bus Stop, Tourist Office, Golf Course, Marina: Boat trips to Dolphin Watching, Scattery Island Labasheeda is a quiet little village beautifully located at the banks of the Shannon, and about halfway on the coast road between Ennis and Kilrush. roughly 7 minutes away.
