A beautiful mountain chalet overlooking a gorgeous forest-covered valley, and tall Himalayan peaks. Our Chalet is called "Onella", meaning "Light" in Greek, because it lights up every morning with the first ray of sunlight. Property Layout: * 1600 sq. ft. duplex cottage comprising 3 Bedrooms (one on the ground floor & two on the first floor) * There are 2 bathrooms (not attached to any room) one on each floor, which are shared between the rooms. * Living area (ground floor) * A covered Patio fitted with an outdoor dining table * A private garden with outdoor furniture * An equipped kitchen Meals & Dining: *The caretaker can cook home-cooked meals at a small charge of Rs.1500. * Dining / Pickup options are available in the vicinity Add-ons / Extra Charges: * Caretaker cooking charges - Rs. 1500 / day (groceries as per actual) * Barbecue apparatus - Rs. 1000 per use * Bonfire - Rs. 1500 per bonfire * Complementary linen change provided every 4th Day. Additional linen change is chargeable at Rs. 500 per room * Nanny accommodation (in living room/attic with mattress) - Rs. 500 / day * No driver accommodation available - can be organized nearby at an additional charge (subject to availability) Important House Rules: * Loud music is strictly not allowed * Only toilet-trained pets allowed - An extra cleaning fee of Rs. 2000 per day is charged for hosting guests with pets (not included in the price here). Pets are strictly not allowed on beds/sofas (will attract fine) * Property suitable for families only (no parties allowed) * Smoking permitted in garden only (will attract fine in other areas)

Watching the sunrise over the mighty snow-covered peaks, or an afternoon beer sitting under the bright sun, makes our chalet a blissful experience. The neighbourhood is a beautiful, non-commercialized, mountain village, with few residential cottages, and resorts. If you are lucky, you may hear the leopard growl, sometimes at night, from the forest below. The place is a heaven for Artists, Photographers, Bird watchers, and stargazers. Our property is located on Digoti - Majkhali road, near Vimoksha Valley I & II townships, and Woodsvilla & Vimoksha Resorts. The property is easily accessible by car, and we have a dedicated parking bay for our guests. The access to the parking bay is through a non-paved stone road. Private and Shared Taxis are available from Majkhali to Ranikhet. A ride in a shared taxi to Ranikhet costs only Rs. 25 per way. Dining options are available at the "Woodsvilla Resort" located 100 mts away, "Vimoksha Resort", located 500 mts away, and "The Cafe" located 1.5 KM away.
