We visited Mountain and Peace for our family vacation and were very impressed with the hospitality we received there. The service was excellent, thanks to the responsiveness of the staff, especially Vinod. The owner of the establishment, Shantam Sood, provided us with local guidance and arranged for our transportation in and around the city. He is very responsive so make sure you contact him with any and every question. The location itself offers a view into the mountains and is very peaceful at a little distance from the main city. We would happily recommend Mountain and Peace to anyone planning a visit to Shimla!

Mountain and peace is a Boutique hotel, homestay module located in Shimla the capital city of one of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. You can visit us for a soulful retreat. It is a perfect place for those who cherish the beauty of nature, located in himalyan foothills the place is surrounded by mountains and natural plantation providing beautiful view of natural scenery. Staying here lets you reconnect with nature, enjoy the hospitality of the host family and relax in many other ways. Having left the crowd and commotion far behind, you enjoy the bliss and solitude surrounding you. Are your lungs desperately screaming for some fresh air? You will find plenty of fresh healthy mountain air in this place.
We as a host will be more than a simple provider of the room we will be more interested in helping and assisting you during your stay. Obviously, as a host it's important to ensure all our guests should have a fantastic homestay experience.
Peaceful environment as we are located in Shimla. Being a hilly region, the way of life is completely different here. You can connect with local people, eat local food in Shimla, visit local markets and places around Shimla, local Walks on traffic restricted roads in Shimla, eat Momos in street food shops around Mall Road and many more things to do.
