Hello! I’m Saurabh Thapa — founder of SHIVAYA Since 1953 and a third-generation member of an Indian Army family. After completing my engineering and working for 6 years in the corporate world (agriculture & tractor sector), I chose to return to my ancestral land in Mukteshwar to build something deeply personal — a space where silence heals, sunsets inspire, and every room tells a story. SHIVAYA is more than just a homestay. It’s where I was born, where my father (a Kargil war veteran) was born, and where generations have lived with grace and humility. Over the past decade, I’ve transformed our 2-room heritage home into a six-room boutique escape for seekers, travellers, and families from around the world. I’m also a fitness Coach & Athlete and run a CrossFit community in Delhi-NCR. Through SHIVAYA, I invite you to pause, reconnect, and feel nature’s presence — one sunrise at a time.
