The owner Sami is very kind and warm. He prepares soup and bread for guests at night and provides a very good breakfast for all of us. He makes his place like a home. We enjoy our stay there very much.

Unique guest accomodations in a 100+ year old farmhouse lovingly managed as a B&B. The host and overall hospitality was perfect and just what we needed. Great access to trails and adventures near by each day including hot springs and heated pools just down the road Husafell is very rural but we very much enjoyed being away from it all. We did not see the Northern Lights during our stay but this farmhouse would have been a great location to see them.

A special little guesthouse, the host was amazing and offered us dinner (the most delicious soups) and a great breakfast and was very nice and welcoming. The rooms were a little old (the door non fell down) but they were big comfortable and very unique. It all felt like a true homey iceland experience The location is nice and dark enough to see the northern light on a good night Loved this place! This is an old farm house that really is simple. There is nothing fancy about it. It is clean and comfortable. The keeper of the house is fantastic! He is so helpful and hospitable and very kind! The free breakfast was great because he made traditional Icelandic porridge and bread and rice porridge and waffles. It is an affordable stay in the area.

Beautiful spot on sculpture trail at foot of canyon walk and 5 mins drive from Into Glacier meeting point at visitor centre. Comfortable room with en suite. Simon was welcoming and provided evening meals of delicious home made soup followed by a meat and veg course on both nights at no extra charge, He also gave us a good breakfast of porridge and home made waffles and bread , jams etc. We hadn't expected any meals so had taken food with us, which we were able to store in his capacious fridge most of which we donated to Simon's soup pot , as we were nearing the end of our trip. This must be how he feeds everyone without being out of pocket. It was really nice to sit down with other guests and Simon for meals and conversation. His niece was there for one meal too and spoke v. good English so was interesting to talk to.

We arrived after the requested checkin time to be greeted with homemade waffles and tea with our host. I felt like I was visiting my grandparents. The rooms were cozy and clean. The setting was so peaceful. Breakfast the next morning included traditional Icelandic fare and was served family style. It was fun chatting with guests from around the world. My stay at the guesthouse was one of my favorite parts of my trip to iceland.
