This is a brand new 4 bedroom villa , 1h away from Reykjavik, near Golden Circle , very close to some of Iceland's most amazing attractions such as Geysir , Gullfoss, Fontana , Secret Lagoon, Thingvellir Our house is superbly styled and makes is perfect for a luxurious getaway with you loved ones. Comfort & smart things in the house : -exterior smart lights - coloured - hot tub - automatic garage for 1 car - inside button + remote control - 75'' Smart 4k tv in the living room & 65'' tv in master bedroom - Netflix & Disney Plus access - colour smart spot lights : hallways+ living room + kitchen + master bedroom + bathroom - smart coffee machine - plenty of options , just need bit oftime to sort it out - cooker with induction hob - smart owen & dishwasher & fridge - touch screen +cameras + ice cubes - smart waching machine + dryer - Irobot vacuum cleaner - smart , can just program it while your out We always try our best to accommodate the schedules of our guests if an early check in / late check out it’s necessary , even if we have same day booking , will try our best to find suitable options for everybody . Of course luggages can be dropped anytime ! Cleaning fee it’s included and we don’t really ask our guests to do anything on their departure then treat our home with the same respect as they tread theirs and be tidy . I do believe it’s a fair request when staying not only at someone’s house but anywhere else really ! Don’t need to remove your rubbish at the end , don’t need to remove linen or don’t clean to wash the floor or clean the hot tub but please don’t leave dirty dishes stuck with old food , don’t treat the floor as a rubbish field and we are all good !

Please note : outside cameras are installed , one in front of the house and one on the back terrace facing the fence , does not reach the hot tub area so your privacy it’s guaranteed , we travel often so that camera it’s to check when bad winds and storms are , we are on the hill and we sometimes get crazy winds . Inside the house are no cameras ofcourse except of 1 camera we had just insulated in the garage facing all heat system & hot tub system . due to big issues we had in the past as guests did not respect the rules and left constantly the hot tub running at full speed it ended with whole system blocked , including hot water and heat inside the house had been out and hot tub pipes all frozen so that camera it’s for only monitorising the system and if guests does not turn off the hot tub over night an extra fee will be charged per each night . We also get some notifications on system been left running for many many hours so in case of emergency we will enter the garage to turn it off . We have a remote control directly to the garage so we won’t bother you in any way or disturb your privacy , the metal door between the garage and the house also have keys and a lock so feel free to lock it if you want , but we will never enter the house without your permission given in advance , whatever you are home or not . In the winter time , specially when very low temperatures occur the amount of water to keep a 2,000L full and hot at 40+ degrees and takes lots of pressure put on all system it’s bad to be forgotten for days , when last 2 times it happened we had a high cost for plumbers to visit and next guests had to be out in a hotel for 1 night + all extra costs of a huge amount of hot water so it’s pretty simple , main rule of our home , you finish using the hot tub , just push OFF the button .

The house is also situated at 10 mins walking distance to Fridheimar restaurant which is a unique experience having your lunch in their own growing tomatoes greenhouse , or have a dinner at Mika restaurant. Around our house there are some constructions going on for 2 houses and usually woring hours are 8-16 , the foundation for this constructions been done since 2021 but nothing has moved forward since then even tho they said will be done in summer 2022, then in 2023 so we do not know when they will actually start working but I want you to take in consideration that if in the week days you wanna sleep in longer and you are sleep sensitive how i am then it migh bother you. Few details about groceries shopping : I would recommend to stop on your way to buy from a bigger supermarket from Reykjavik or Selfoss as : Bonus (cheapest), Krona, Netto, Haugkaup … we do have a petrol station just 2 mins away and have most basic stuff, a bit bigger shop about 12 mins away (and yes from both you can buy vegetables , milk etc) but both are a bit more expensive and no many varieties .. also I recommend not buying water, Iceland have one of the best tap water in the world. List with what we provide : - shampoo + conditioner - shower gel + hand soap - kitchen paper rolls+ toilet paper - dishes soap - coffee , tea , sugar - salt & pepper - washing machine + dishwasher tablets It will be a tablet in the house controlling all smart devices as changing colours for the lights or personalise your coffee or asking the IRobot to hoover a specific room. We ask for extra attention , specially with kids , for the fridge screen, electric fire pit , tv and cooker (my 4y daughter been pretty excited with all this ) , all are brand new , due to the reason that take months to be delivered and also pretty expensive
