Bayit is a Boutique Hotel housed within the walls of a building born between 1500 and 1700. It was once the residence of a wealthy Jewish bourgeois oil merchant family, whose progenitor Gianfilippo Calò was called the "Magnifico". The spaces of Bayit keep intact the charm and beauty of the past, while the name itself celebrates the origins of the structure in the former Jewish quarter of Polignano a Mare. The name embodies its essence, in Hebrew it means "home", a house of charm and elegance ready to give emotions and cherish memories. From the Bayit terrace you can smell the sea and you can get lost in endless horizons. During the day or at sunset it offers moments of absolute relaxation, while a gentle breeze accompanies the passage of time.
