Impormasyon ng accommodation

Podere di Maggio is an organic farm in one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany, still original and wild. Nature is living here in all its facets; stunning landscapes, a very rich flora and many wild animals which you can easily encounter. Casa Grande, with its origin from around 1600 is a cosy apartment equipped with fireplace for the long winter evenings is the perfect place to live it all; long walks in the nature reserves, a fresh bath in the river, a stroll in one of the beautiful medieval towns in the neighborhood, a great local dish in one of the restaurants nearby. Coming out from the kitchen you have a nice terrace in the sun overlooking the valley, on the other side, next to the bedroom there is a shaded terrace with a pond under an old rosebush. Sustainability: We use electricity from solar panels, renovations have been carried out with sustainable materials and the water comes from a source, also for the swimming pool. Moreover, all waste is collected separately as much as possible. Furthermore, degradable detergents are used for cleaning and washing.

In the neighborhood you find many natura parks, beautiful untouched medieval villages, hot water springs to have a wonderful bath, Etruscan excavations and much more. A bit further away you can visit many art cities as Siena, Perugia, Assisi and Orvieto. For art lovers there is the wonderful Giardino di Spoerri; a great park with high quality art from last century, only half an our from here. At 1,5 our you can visit Bomarzo, a park from the 16th century with sculptures of monsters and strange creatures. Than there is the famous Tarot Garden of Niki de Saint-Phalle.
