Live with the facilities of every day, but sorrounded by centuries-old woods, full of past memories. Use antique furniture, reborn to a new life. Sleep in a pine wood "stube", which, as shown by numerous studies, promotes a restful and relaxing sleep. Enjoy a thick winter snowfall warmed by the healthy heat of the wood of a Tyrolean tiled stove. This is the unique experience offered by Bepi&Piera's flat, a 42 sqm 2-room apartment completely renovated, located on the 1st floor. The apartment, for couples or 2 adults (not suitable for children), features: *living room with dining area, wooden sofa "ottomana", 40-inch flat-screen TV and Tyrolean tiled stove *furnished and equipped kitchenette (induction hob, oven, fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, kettle and toaster) *stone pine wood "stube" (bedroom with double bed and 2 single duvets) *windowed bathroom with shower *2 balconies. The heating is guaranteed, in a main way, by a wood-fired Tyrolean tiled stove, whose heat spreads by radiation, ensuring a constant and comfortable temperature. For those who own one of these stoves, sitting on a bank and leaning on its warm tiles becomes an indispensable habit.
Welcome to holiday house Casa Zebrusius, our home between the mountains, just 2 km from Bormio in the village of San Nicolò Valfurva. Casa Zebrusius is a private house located in a good served area, within walking distance to all basic services and the bus stop, as well very near to Bormio. * walking and cycling path Sentiero Frodolfo just 30 metres from the main door * dedicated areas for bycicles, skis and boots * bike washing/cleaning area and workshop with tools for small repairs * private outdoor parking (suitable for small to medium-sized cars), as well as several public parking lots in the immediate vicinity (free of charge) * always all-inclusive prices (tourist tax only is excluded) * discounts (from Monday to Thursday - except high season periods) for thermal spas QC Terme Bagni Nuovi and QC Terme Bagni Vecchi in Bormio * hiking and bike maps * information material Please note, the Tyrolean tiled stove will be fired up by us in a room adjacent to the flat. Casa Zebrusius is set at an altitude of 1328 meters asl, near the river Frodolfo and at the foot of various mountains, namely Vallecetta, Reit and Forcellino, within Stelvio National Park and the mountain group Ortles-Cevedale. Bormio is just 2 km far away and can be reached in only a 5-minute drive or along the new pedrestrian-cycle path along the river Frodolfo. Santa Caterina Valfurva is 8 km far away and can be reached also on foot or by mountain-bike following a mountain road amidst the woods (14 km). The duty-free area of Livigno is 35 km away and the town center can be reached with one hour-drive. The famous mountain passes of Stelvio, Gavia, Mortirolo and Bernina are in the immediate vicinity. The house is close to all the main services (grocery, butchery, bars-tobacconists, restaurants-pizzeria, pharmacy, banks and post office), as well as the bus stop. Meadows, woods and hiking are only a few steps away: you just have to go out and head towards the bridge over the river Frodolfo or the climb "Salita dei Clef". The public equipped green area of Genolecia is only 1 km along the cycle path. We suggest you to reach Casa Zebrusius by your own means.
