Bardonecchia would make an ideal base from summer and winter holidays. Whether you wish to escape for the peace and quiet of the mountains, discover new adventures and activities, Bardonecchia in the summer offers a variety of action/adrenaline packed activities for you to explore. It’s an adventurer’s paradise and one of the few summer mountain resorts in the Alps that’s more popular in the summer than the winter: walking, biking, hiking of via ferrata, horseback riding, sport fishing, tennis, and golf. Exploration and adventure on the ancient pilgrim paths and some of the 25 highest mountain roads in Europe. Bardonecchia is a sizable town with a considerable ski area, there are 100km of piste trails, 1 snow park available and a varieties of other winter activity including cross-country skiing, mountaineering, and snowshoeing. Free bus service runs daily to get around the resort itself.
