If you travel by car this is central to all of southern Puglia. It is a historic farm completely renovated using State Archeological grants. It is beautiful and detailed to perfection in a naturally beautiful hillside setting. The service was the only thing that exceeded the physical beauty of the setting.

We stayed for 14 days at the Masseria Pizzofalcone and our holiday was simply superb! The location is beautiful, surrounded by olive trees and farmland, and set in the middle of Salento region, making it easy to reach beaches on both the Eastern and Western coasts within half an hour drive. The room, the pool and hotel facilities were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was served daily in the veranda and the buffet had a good selection of freshly made pastries and savoury options. All staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, and bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable and helped us with tips on local restaurants, sites to visit, etc.. The masseria is also open as a restaurant in the evening, offering a range of pasta dishes, seafood and meat mains and a good selection of local wines, perfect to experience traditional cuisine. Definitely recommended a visit of you are in the area, even if not staying at the Masseria.

Amazing place. Old farm beautifully renovated amidst an olive grove. Relaxing atmosphere, peaceful, no noise with an excellent hostess who cared for everything herself. Staff extraordinary friendly and willing to help, we even hit explained in English the history of the masseria and the year long efforts of the Family to turn the Place to a modern paradise respecting the past. Nous étions hors saison pourtant nous avons bénéficié d’un très bon service avec le petit déjeuné complet le matin à prendre à l’intérieur ou à l’extérieur et une propriétaire toujours disponible pour la moindre question (en italien par contre, vu qu’elle ne parle pas un seul mot d’anglais). La chambre était très spacieuse bien équipée avec son immense double terrasse. Les extérieurs juste magnifiques Proche de tous les petits villages du sud des Pouilles, très bien localisée. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés ce logement.

Tolle Unterkunft, sehr außergewöhnlich! Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut, leider sehr viel Süßes zum Frühstück. Der Kaffee war jedoch fantastisch! Nachmittags gab es lokale Snacks zum Aperol/Kaffee am Pool :)
