Villa Colle di Giotto is a traditional Tuscany country house surrounded by nature. Located close to Florence, it has been renovated in 2020 and transformed into a fully equipped holiday villa with private garden and swimming pool (7x4mts above-ground) at exclusive disposal of the guests. During these last months we have been doing more renovation works in order to make the Villa as beautiful and comfortable as possible, and unfortunately due to pandemics delays in materials and work some patch is still visible in the garden and on the exterior facade, but you will be able to fully enjoy the villa, the garden and the pool anyway. Villa Colle di Giotto is available at your exclusive use for rent per minimum 7 nights, for up to 8 people. Villa Colle di Giotto is part of a farm complex, but it is completely independent. To get to the house you will be driving on a country road lined with wheat fields and old farms. It is a relaxing retreat for nature lovers and for people who want to disconnect from a hectic life. You will be visiting Florence and surroundings, and then relaxing after a day of exploring, by taking a stroll along the fields, or private yoga and meditation sessions.

Mariagrazia, the host, is the daughter of the family who owns the house for generations. She is primarily a yoga teacher and the owner of Ganesh Yoga Mugello, the main yoga center in the area. She will be more than happy to entertain you with private yoga and meditation sessions on the premises of the villa: this is the ideal place, surrounded by a wide and peaceful countryside and situated on a private land where there are a wooden deck and a lawn, which are suitable both for single lessons and for bigger parties. In the morning, in the open space on the wooden deck, you will be looking East to the sunrise, while breathing in deeply all the nature around, and starting with energy a new day. Or in the late afternoon, after a day of exploring, you will reconnect with nature while sunset is colouring the sky. Villa Colle di Giotto is certainly an ideal location for contemplation and recovering your inner balance.

The land of Mugello is an unspoilt area in northern Tuscany, a few kilometers north of Florence. The area is a wide, green valley crossed in parts by the Sieve river. It is the cradle of the famous Medici family and of painters such as Giotto and Beato Angelico. It still is a hidden gem of Tuscany, with history, wild nature, traditional Tuscan food and a fresher climate during the hot Italian summers. The villa is located in Lo Spinoso, Mugello, Tuscany (35 km from the center of Florence, close to the small towns of Borgo San Lorenzo and Vicchio). It is surrounded by green hills and wheat fields. A very quiet place for travellers who want to reconnect with nature. Close by you you will find the House of Giotto, where the architect of the famous and splendid Campanile di Giotto in Florence (known as Giotto's bell tower) was born back in 1267. Also nearby: Mugello circuit (12 km), Fiesole (28 km), Bilancino Lake (20 km). For shopping lovers there is McArthurGlen Barberino Designer Outlet (23 km). Coming by car is strongly recommended to completely enjoy the area. Public transport not available nearby.
