The Villa Torre di Palanzo is located at a height of 600m on Lake Como, in a small medieval borgo called Palanzo. It's about halfway between Como and Bellagio. The village, in which less than three hundred inhabitants live, has kept unchanged the charm of past centuries: its narrow alleyways connect houses built mainly in wood and local stone. Main historical and cultural monuments are the Chiesa del Soldo, the old Torchio Monumentale and the Medieval Tower, dated back from the 11th-12th century.
