Rose Hall Great House and Greenwood Great house are both conveniently located nearby providing two of the best remaining examples of the history of Jamaica before the abolition of slavery. I have lived most of my life in the UK and have decided that I am ready to adopt a more sedate lifestyle. Instead of working nine-to-five, I much prefer to share my home and knowledge of Jamaica with guests from around the world. I have spent a lot time here and know how to access services, change currency, rent vehicles and how to travel around the island. I look forward to welcoming you to my home and helping guests have the best possible experiences whilst staying with me. I enjoy watching live sporting events, especially football and boxing. I have now installed a bar with gaming consul, Smart TV and BoomBox so guests can now enjoy a drink whilst watching all of the big live-stream movies, series, sporting or entertainment events, play cards, dominoes or ludo and have a bbq with our own local chef preparing a la carte local dishes. I first visited in Jamaica in 1976 and fell in love with the food, the music the tropical environment and the weather! I have visited pretty much every year since then. The music, the beaches, the natural environment, the culture, the, history and most of all the people, are very special, no where no better than yard!

Guests will enjoy the stunning panoramic ocean views from the rooftop with cruise ships sailing from Falmouth to Montego Bay and beyond. The local fishing village is within a twenty minute walk allowing guests the opportunity to buy fresh fish and seafood whilst enjoying a red stripe beer! Nearby Greenwood supermarket provides local and imported produce and there is also a petrol station nearby. The villa is in a neighbourhood called Barrett Hall which is located in the "Elegant Corridor" with views of the Iberostar Hotel. Lots of restaurants and craft vendors are located in the community which contains a healthy mix of Jamaicans and returning residents from overseas. It is a very friendly place and don't surprised to see flocks of goats roaming past the property. Both Montego Bay and Falmouth centres are nearby with ATM's, KFC, Burger King as well as the local Juicy Patties, Island Grill or Pier 1, famous for it's seafood. Glistening Waters, Half-Moon & Cinnamon Hill golf courses, Harmony public beach park, Doctors Cave beach, Margaritaville are all on the Mobay"Hip-Strip". Further afield, you can travel to Mystic Mountain in Ocho Rios or travel to Port Antonio and Kingston.
