Ryokan Iseya is a classic Japanese inn with a nostalgic Showa ambience in Iizaka Onsen town, north of Fukushima City. The inn houses large natural hot spring baths, open to guests 24/7, as well as an outdoor bath surrounded by a traditional Japanese garden. The Notenburo, or outdoor bath, is also available to guests to reserve for private use. 2 additional indoor private baths are also available for reservation, all sourced from authentic Iizaka hot spring water. The water is said to have various healing properties, including relieving muscle and joint soreness. Guests have access to various facilities including a karaoke bar, massage chairs, and a tatami rest area. Free rental bicycles are also available. The units are equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, a flat-screen TV, a kettle, a bath, free toiletries and a wardrobe. Certain rooms include a seating area. All guests are provided with a yukata to wear inside the ryokan.
Iizaka Onsen is a cozy, atmospheric onsen town that boasts an over 2,000-year-old hot spring water source. Iizaka is known for its numerous public baths and foot baths. The source water is hotter than typical onsen, making Ryokan Iseya the perfect destination for travelers looking to experience a true, pure hot spring bath. Visitors can enjoy Iizaka's famous cuisine, enban gyoza, at several local restaurants. Iizaka Onsen is a short, 20-minute train ride from central Fukushima City, ideal for sightseeing.
