This hotel is one of the best of the Tokyu chain that we stayed during our trip. Location is superb within 1 minute to Hakodate morning market, easy walk to other point of interests. The room was great size and has microwave, washing machine which is super convenient. The hotel also provides free ice, water, coffee and tea and their coffee was great! (not nespresso machine like other Tokyu hotels) They also have a lounge with great view and the rooftop onsen was superb. I really like the outdoor one that looks over to the ocean and during the 2 night stay I had chance to experience both onsen rooms (they swap everyday). I have a bit of tattoos but no one complained, I would say if you are nice and kind to everyone it should be ok.

The location is incredible, a very short walk from the JR station and main bus stop which connects you to everywhere. The tourist information counter at the JR station and will tell you exactly how to get to and back from different places. The Hakodate Morning Market is right next to the hotel, delicious meals everyday. Also, the Onsen on the 18th floor has amazing views. Can’t ask for more.

Lovely hotel only a short walk to the train station. Great sized room with an incredible view over the water. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The washer/dryer machine plus the microwave and small kitchen were great to have. Excellent value for money!

Fantastic location, it’s walking distance to JR, bus and tram station. One can have daily breakfast or brunch at Hakodate morning market. Plenty of restaurant to choose from, all within walking distance of no more than 15 mins. Onsen opens until 11:00 am, which is rare.

This hotel was delightful. Great location close to the train station, morning market and walking distance to the main town. We paid for a larger room and it was well designed and a great size for two travelers with 3 suitcases - including a separate toilet, shower room and laundry. The lounge upstairs has a great view and is a nice spot to sit down to have a drink and read a book. The onsen is a huge plus. We were there during a blizzard and sitting in the hot outdoor onsen with wind and snow all around was spectacular. Highly recommend!

Given that Hakodate is quite a small place for tourists, it's very convenient to reach all iconic sightseeing sites from the hotel. - Rooms: cleaning, well equipped and right sized. The view from the bathroom is definitely a bonus. - Onsen: although a bit small being a rootfop onsen pool, it's very chill experience to have the outdoor onsen with snows gently flying on the face. - Meals: the hotel offers the meal coupon of over 10 restaurants at Hokodate Morning Market Square with a wide variety of choices. - Environment: Very quiet and the seaside view esp. at night is so stunning.
