We stayed at the big house. The house was very clean. Even though there was more space than we needed we booked it because it has superb views of the Kerio Valley. The location right at the edge of the escarpment is stunning. You can see the valley from the bed in the master bedroom. We had breakfast and dinner--Florence bakes her own, delicious bread for breakfast. Dinner was excellent as well. Florence and Koen are great hosts who made us feel comfortable.

The room size was good. Superb views over the Great Rift Valley from the property grounds. The excellent Kaptagat Forest was easily accessible, just a short walk away along a decent track. The host was very responsive to our questions beforehand. Breakfast (included in the room rate) and dinner (excellent value) were both very good. Coffee was excellent. Vegetarian meals were no problem for the hosts. Wi-fi was also very good. The temperature was also very pleasant - not too hot, or too cold.

We occupied the family house, which was more than spacious for our 4-members family. Meals together with the host family were very good and we enjoyed the chat as well. The view from the house and the garden is breathtaking.

The hosts are a power-couple regarding their hospitality and delicious food! Because of the distance to town we had dinners at the property and were thrilled with the delicious, healthy, homemade options! We were able to sample some of their recently harvested avocados and coffee! We were able to purchase cold beers with which to enjoy the sunset casting its shadow into the valley below. The cool nights make for some deep sleeping! The hosts helped us arrange a safari down into the valley! Very nice experience!

The view is wonderful and the place is friendly. A perfect spot for hiking in the forest and down the escarpment. Plus there was a freshly baked bread for breakfast!
