Parking near the house is free - with a personal parking permit (only for residents of the house). You will find the permit in the apartment, or we will give it to you in person upon arriving. In each of the rooms there are paintings and many books. At the same time in the apartment can sleep 6 adults (three double beds) and two small children (0-1 and 0-5) (folding baby bed / playpen - 120 cm - and a cradle for the baby; accommodation for babies - free of charge). There is also an extra folding bed for a seventh person. We also provide all the things you need to live with your baby - high chair, bath tub, rocking horse, baby development mat(0-6), changing board, potty, and a sports stroller. For children in one of the rooms you will find books, colouring books and pencils, puzzles, a play rug and various toys. The apartment has a very good location - close to the City Center, but in a green area. Zemitāni train station is 10-15 minutes walk (or 1 stop). By train - 20 minutes to the sea. By trolleybuses (5 minutes to the stop) - 15 (20) minutes to the Central Station. Very close to the apartment is a large grocery store Maxima, Hesburger, and three petrol stations - gas LPG, Neste and Cirkle. A little further away - 5-10 minutes on foot - is a large shopping mall Domina Shopping, near it there is a stop of public transport going to the city centre (Time period based tickets, which can be bought in stores and kiosks, as well as online . Attention - there are maps of the city and public transportation at the stops - some of them are outdated, and do not correspond to reality! For example, the bridge of the eastern highway, near where you will live, has been opened recently and has not yet appeared on the maps. As Saknes apartments are located near the Center of Riga, they are easily accessible by public transport. If you are traveling by train or bus, when you arrive at the train station you will need to find the 23, 18 or 35 trolleybus stop (opposite the Origo shopping mall) and in 15 minutes you will be there (get off at the Gustava Zemgala gatve stop, just after the bridge). If you are traveling by plane and taking the 22 bus from the airport, you will need to get off near the train station (Centrālā stacija) and find the trolleybus stop (see above). As already mentioned, you can get to the city center by 23, 18 and 35 trolleybuses, to the Zoo and Mežaparks by 48 bus. In 10-15 minutes (the next stop of transportation in the direction of the city) walking distance is the railway station Zemitāni, from where you can take the train to the sea and the beach (in the northern direction) (station Vecāķi, about 20 -30 minutes). To get to the sea, you can also use public transportation - bus 58 to the end stop and then bus 24. It is longer, but you can reach interesting places in Mangaļsala - the breakwater and lighthouse (Daugava flows into the sea, go until the end stop), horse club almost on the seashore (Īriss, zirgu fanu klubs) and walking trails in the Seaside Nature Park. (24th bus - stop Stāvvadu iela). Also by train from Zemitāni station you can go to other places popular with tourists (north-eastern direction) - Sigulda and Turaida (1 hour), Cesis (almost 2 hours), Gauja National Park - Ligatne, Melturi, Araishi, Amata and Gauja rivers, where there are historical sites, scenic spots, nature trails, adventure parks and other active entertainment. By the way, the popular resort town of Jurmala is located in the south-west direction from the station, so you can go there either by train with a transfer, or go to the Central Station and there you can take the necessary train.
