The pool was clean and good size. We got a decent size bungalow for a family of 5. Staff were attentive and gave us everything we needed for our stay. Location is great around the corner from Menara mall around 10 min walk. Really enjoyed our stay. Would book again.

There were a few initial hiccups with the room (maintenance and standards) but the staff were all very attentive when I pointed these out and resolved the issues by moving us to a better room. It was unfortunate that the 2nd room they moved us to also had problems (Shower not working and some lights not working) but they moved us again and the 3rd room was fine. The staff members who helped make our stay so much better were Mouna and Ali on reception and Mohammed and Muina on concierge. Jaafar in the restaurant was also great at Breakfast.

It was rather hot during our trip in July/August, so in retrospect would have preferred Winter, but on the positive side it was less busy in what is a manically busy city centre. We loved the dining and walking around watching local life and observing a completely different culture. The narrow lanes of the market were bustling and interesting, but some of the sights which you paid a lot of money to enter were quite dissapointing, better to just wander around. We had three days in Marrakech but felt that one day would have been plenty as there's plenty to see outside of the city where we spent most of our time.

We are a family of 5 - 2 adults 3 teens and we found Marrakech to have something for everybody - the children loved the cookery class, ballooning, the water park, we enjoyed the souks and after a day we all got the hang of how it worked and enjoyed the haggle! We found the taxi system a bit hectic and had to stick to our price which they determined the first time we used a taxi. After that we knew what we wanted to pay and what was fair we got on ok. We really enjoyed this holiday with our children, they appreciated the culture and the mixture of busy time and downtime.

It was my second time in Marrakech and my first trip was fantastic. This time I went with a group of families and my experience was different. First of all, at the airport, the security check was extremely difficult while we are British citizens, we were stopped and asked where we were originally from why we were visiting Morocco? Then they wanted to take our fingerprints from all of us. But I don't understand. Next time I will ask for a visa to go, if I go again. They only ask random people I think. This made me very upset and uncomfortable. For that reason, all of us said we will never go back to Morocco again. It was awful. When they make you look like if you were something different, while you are only a visitor. The immigration security is awful. Going in and out of the airport was too long, and we nearly missed our taxi when we got there. Going out is also so much difficult to check. When you have already checked in online and printed your air tickets but still have to check in again, the queues are so long. Then further three or four times security check. That made my experience awful. Never go again. The hotel and the hotel drive Hussain were great. The people the Morocco are wonderful.

Completely overrated, and everything is a tourist trap.

Completely overrated, and everything is a tourist trap. Museums I went to were arbitrarily shut, and many did not have signs/writing in English. Those that did were still disappointing, as they had about 1% of the number of exhibits that any other museums would have (and £8 entry, to each!). Food is much, much lower quality than in Casablanca - just go there to be honest. You can walk from most sites to the others (assuming you're fine with the temperature), so avoid the taxis. Once you've seen one riad/palace, you've seen them all. As an Indian origin person, people did not try to sell me things constantly (I did see white Europeans getting bothered a lot), but they would keep asking if I'm Muslim, I'd say no, and cue the "Islam good, Hindu very bad", followed by a request for money. Unreal.

Marrakech (the old town) is a maze of small streets with many street vendors. The locals come across as friendly, HOWEVER BEWARE, they are all scammers. They will tell you that your going the wrong way to the market when your not, they will tell you streets are closed etc and then try and get you to pay them money. Dont believe what you see on social media, Cafe de france features highly on all lists and was also recommended by our hotel, its truly terrible and not worth it. YSL Museum is a lovely place to spend 3/4 hours and is quite an easy walk. We walked everywhere, there really is no need for taxi's. Avoid most of the places around the main square, walk just around the corner and you will pay half the price for better quality food. Recommendations to eat Snak Adam, La Pergola Jazz Bar, La Cantine Des Gazelles. I would recommend an excursion as well. We used getyourguide and booked an Atlas Mountains Talamrout Summit day Hike. the views were incredible. The cost was around £65 and included a lunch. This is a full 6/7 hour hike and some of the terrain is difficult but its worth it.

The host gave better treatment than a 5 star hotel. He Helped With anything i needed done when i first got there he sent me Information about the local area such as where to eat and what shops there is around And even where to swap Currencys. He also Sorted out a 2nd apartment for another family that was travelling with me on the same day due to their planned booking being a fraud. The Apartment is Well Kept and has good AC. Overall I was Very Happy with my stay and the host was excellent

The service from Moroccan employees was perfect, I had an issue in the shower for water pressure and they sent me a technician in less than 5 minutes that fixed it, same after asking for iron I got it in my room in less than 5 minutes, perfect value for money in a 5 stars hotels in Hivernage area, near to all fancy restaurants and city center (Gueliz & Medina). We didn’t get any thing from spa but we were inside and it looks very luxurious, especially the pool with Moroccan lights.

Staff is excellent, especially kitchen, cafe outside and the ladies that organise the rooms. Hotel itself is a good 5 star hotel. Rooms are clean, breakfast was nice and tasty and location is fantastic. You can walk to either Gueliz, ExtraBlatt and other lounges and old city. Taxi costs around 50 dh ( I probably paid more than locals, but was happy. Seemed a fair amount)
