Where you will stay: Entire place to yourself just a few steps from the beach! (Almost ocean water at your feet!) in the peaceful paradise of French Caribbean islands's vibrant little town “ Trois Ilets”.
Your place: Adorable studio with view on the Marina inside the Hotel/ Appartment complex “Ti Carayou Resort & Spa” sleeping up to three (3) people with a small kitchen and a quiet balcony looking up to the trees plunging into the marina. Free access to the hotel facilities such as parking, hotel private beach (the public beach with more trees is also right there on the other side) the pool and a lush tropical garden. Access to the hotel's daily breakfast buffet with an additional fee.
Offering a magnificent panorama of the Marina of Trois-îlets and the small private beaches of Pointe du Bout in Trois Ilets.

Where you will be: "Les Trois-Îlets" is a town on the Caribbean island of Martinique. "Les Trois-Îlets" are in the immediate vicinity of hotels, restaurants and shops. The distance between Pointe-du-Bout (in Les Trois-Ilets) and Fort de France Airport (FDF) is approximately 18 km (11 miles). The travel time is around 30 minutes by car or taxi, and about 1 hour 14 minutes with bus and ferry transfers.
History of the place: Les Trois-Îlets is known as the birthplace of Joséphine, Napoléon Bonaparte’s first wife. Her family’s sugar plantation is now the Pagerie Museum, with childhood mementos and a love letter from Napoléon. Nearby, exhibits at the Maison de la Canne detail how sugar cane shaped Martinique’s history. North, Pointe du Bout is a water-sports hub with boutiques and cafes.
Roots of the island: Martinique's original name was Madinina, meaning "island of flowers" or "island of women". It was also referred to as Madinina, potentially a variation of the same name. These names were given by the indigenous Arawak and Carib peoples who inhabited the island before European arrival. The name "Martinique" is believed to be a French adaptation of these indigenous names.
