Loved my stay here: firstly there was a warm welcome at the arrival, the room was huge (I feel I was upgraded since it looked too good for a standard one) and extremely clean. The breakfast is fine though it had the same food daily which can be a problem for some people. Housekeeping did an outstanding job too. The beach is right in front of the hotel and a fresh beach towel is given daily.

West Sands is a very good hotel at Ukulhas. Right on the beach. Get out of the hotel and within few steps through a garden and we were on the beautiful beach. Really loved the location. We stayed at the ocean view suit. Because of the garden just off the beach there is no clear sea view but no complains. Trees are more important than my sea view. We could always hear the sound of the Indian ocean. They also have one of the best restaurants in Ukulhas. The staff are very friendly. Ramzan, Merilin, Jiten - all the waiters are super friendly and eager to serve. Specially Ramzan spent a lot of time talking to us. Loved the conversation. The manager Mr. Najah was very helpful in arranging safaris.

The Staff and food are exceptionally good, local people very cooperative and ready to spread there helping hands. Very encouraging and providing support for the activities and local tours. Very near to the beach, all the time can enjoy the beauty of ocean, as it near. Very much budget friendly compare to other islands in the Maldives.

the Jacuzzi room with the awesome balcony overlooking the ocean was awesome. The dining staff were very nice and food was tasty. liked the beach being just a step away and the island.

Hotel Manager Hardy, he goes over and beyond to provide you with the best service. You name it, and he makes sure it’s done. kindest, sweetest guy you will ever meet. About the hotel, beautiful hotel with a nice restaurant with a nice buffet. also we just loved the bathrooms. we stayed in two different room categories and both the rooms the bathrooms were just spectacular.

Excellent - perhaps the best place to stay at this island. It's right at the beachfront, the food is amazing and changes every day, the staff is super hospitable. The beach front is very nice, with a small palm tree forest, so you have much space to sit in the shade. Some tips for you: - At the sea, there's many corals and shells, so don't forget to bring your swimming shoes. - And plentiful and colorful fishes - so don't forget to bring your swim mask. - There's a water sport 5min walk, which we can highly recommend, e.g., jetski for 50usd/30min.
