Beautiful home just two blocks from Tlacotalpan's central park of and roughly three from the riverfront. Totally renovated, the result is an isolated, comfortable, and functional space that emphasizes form and design. New architectural elements respect the spirit of the town and the traditional homes for which it's famous. Perfectly distributed ample spaces make your stay an enjoyable experience. Indoor-outdoor, in Tlacotalpan's considerable climate, the pool is a luxury. At 9 x 2 meters, it integrates with the rest of the spaces all shaded by a beautiful jobo tree. Importantly, the home does not include the formal 19th -century sitting area and reception area which most homes in Tlacotalpan still use, but which modern guests have no use for. Escondida is practical, and you'll find everything within easy reach.
Hospitality Professional, James has been working in the hospitality and tourism industry in Mexico for many years. A resident of Mexico City, he is accompanied at Tlacotalpan by Magdalena, who takes care of the day-to-day attention to guests and can help with any immediate questions.
La Casa Escondida is in the center of Tlacotalpan, surrounded by colorful streets and traditional houses that have made the town into a recognized UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Surrounding streets are home to bakeries and shops and vendors offering fresh produce, fish, milk and bread make regular rounds. The Cathedral and the main town square are just two blocks north and the riverfront is three. Most guests will walk to most parts of the town which is very pedestrian friendly. Longer trips might require a car and local taxis can make up the difference.
