Situated half a block from the jardin, lovely airy rooms, a good restaurant and charming and helpful staff make this a wonderful place to stay. I didn’t want to leave!

Breakfast was amazing. The number of choices was very broad and all were delicious. Everything was very fresh. You could eat enough to keep you going the whole day. You could eat super healthily. French press coffee delivered to the room was also a nice touch.

Older building with Mexican feel. Very clean and nicely laid out. The staff from reception to night watch were exceptional!! Friendly accommodating. Did I forget to mention the food is fantastic!! No need to search for a good restaurant for dinner. Breakfast is included and the coffee is great. Within walking distance to the plaza and Malecon with many great shops along the way. Walmart is the best place and rates for banking. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the wonderful town of Ajijic!

Pictures don't do the hotel justice. The family owned hotel and restaurant are top shelve. The rooms are extremely clean and fresh water is supplied daily. The restaurant food is exceptional. French pressed Coffee was served to our rooms every morning. The restaurant offers a wide variety of entrées. One choice i enjoyed was the lamb shank. Also duck, as well as several fresh fish entrées. I highly recommend the hotel also for its central location. The entire family is very welcoming and warm. We will be back!! Oh yeah almost forgot the margaritas are fresh and yummy!!

The food options were great and delicious! Make sure to try the aqua pina! The hotel is close to the Plaza and an easy walk to shops and attractions. My room was comfortable and clean. ALL of the staff were welcoming, gracious, and helpful

My stay at Cassa Yollotzin was outstanding in every way The family who ran the hotel and every person who worked there went out of their way to take care of me. The service during every meal, including the delivery of coffee and sweets in the morning, was excellent, as was the food. This place is very special. I would come back many times to have this experience again. The location in the heart of Ajijic and steps to the main square were perfect. I am very grateful for a very special experience with wonderful people. Thank you. I will recommend Casa Yollotzin to others.

The restaurant was exceptional- one day of our stay we had 3 meals there! That is NOT our usual method of dining on vacation- we usually prefer to go out. But, it was that good! My husband even got a lesson in making omeletes from the chef.

From the moment I walked in I was made to feel very welcome. I was greeted in English and Spanish. I understand and speak a little Spanish and they were patient with me, but were also able to communicate very well in English. Eric the chef (amazing food both traditional Mexican and a few French and Italian inspired dishes). French press coffee delivered with a cookie to my room every morning and also complementary a la carte breakfast in the dining room. Managers, servers and bartenders are all very nice. Servers Abraham and Adrian! Bartender Juan Manuel! All around man, Fabian. Cheers to Ana Cecilia and Jaime, too!
