Spend the night in an attractive, former antiquarian shop, situated in a national monument in the historic center of Middelburg. There are 2 bedrooms available, spread over 2 floors . At the rear of the house is a small garden where you can freely enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. On the ground floor you will find a spacious room that has been used as an antiquarian and where you can have your breakfast. Breakfast is available at an extra charge. On the 1st floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room (40 m2) , a large bedroom and a small patio where you can relax. On the 2nd floor are a spacious bathroom (14m2) , a bed room with a double bed and a bedroom with queen bed and a single bed. Bed linen and towels are included. During your stay you can use WiFi, kitchen stuff and if necessary a washing machine and iron with ironing board. There are (paid) parking spaces available in the street. You can park your car for free in the parking lot “Oude Veerseweg 1 ” (20 minutes walking distance to the city center) (P-11 see inner city map) On the ground floor we recently opened a small traditional Spanish Tapas bar.
You will be welcomed by the host and can call on him at any time. He will hand over the key at your arrival and guide you through the apartment.
You can park for free in the parking lot “Oude Veerseweg” (20 minutes walking distance to the city center) (P-11 see inner city map) From the Lange Noordstraat you can walk to the market of Middelburg in 5 minutes. If you walk a little further down the street you will already see the tower of the Abbey. You cannot wish for a better location. Middelburg is traditionally a rich city that flourished particularly in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The legacy of this is still very noticeable in the city. You will find beautiful old buildings everywhere that still radiate the atmosphere of the golden age. Most visited the town hall, the Abbey, the Lange Jan, the Mini Mundi family park and of course the Zeeland museum. In addition, Middelburg is the perfect base to explore the other parts of Walcheren and Zeeland. From Middelburg you are so at the beach or at the beautiful village of Veere.
