The Keizerstraat is the main street of Scheveningen-Dorp. The street has many shops, restaurants and cafes. As far as is known, the street name first appears in a transport register from 1561. In 1813 the Prince of Orange, who had previously landed on the beach of Scheveningen, was received there. The street leads to the renovated boulevard along Scheveningen beach.
