Die Hütte SOW 114 ist sehr gut ausgestattet und war bestens für einen Familienaufenthalt mit Hund geeignet. Die Hütte hat einen schöne Terrasse. Die Lage ist traumhaft - nur wenige Meter von der Hütte entfernt kann man am Wasserfall entlanglaufen/-klettern. Bei entsprechendem Wetter ist das Baden direkt am Wasserfall in „Felstöpfen“ möglich. Die Hütte eignet sich optimal für Wanderungen in die Umgebung. Auch ein anspruchsvolles Lauftraining ist möglich. Achtung!: Es handelt sich um eine Hütte in einem Wintersportgebiet. Entsprechend ruhig ist es im Sommer. Im Sommer ist Mückenspray bzw Schutzmittel zB Autan unbedingt erforderlich. Die kleinen Mücken (Knobs) fallen ab frühen Abend über einen her ;-) Det nächste (gut ausgestattete) Supermarkt ist in Kirkjebygd (Aseral) 12 km entfernt.
