Valseter is a historic mountain retreat in Gålå, the heart of Norway We´re placed in a beautiful mountain setting, nestled between two mountain lakes. The property serves as a perfect getaway for larger families and friend groups. It can also offer artists, writers and creatives an idyllic location for workshops, camps and retreats. Valseter caters exclusively to groups up to 24 people. Our on-site host serves breakfast and can help with any other needs you may have. A professional chef is also available upon request. Please inquire for availability. The second floor has 9 bedrooms with double beds, that can accommodate 9-18 guests depending on single or double occupancy. Each room has a wash basin, bathrobes and towels. Bathroom facilities include 5 private showers, three restrooms and a sauna, located just a few steps away from the bedrooms. The dining table can seat up to 14-16 people, and an extra table can be arranged to make room for more guests. In addition it’s possible to book our three bedroom, two bathroom suite with room for 5 more people. Located 2 h 50 min by car from Oslo Airport Gardermoen. Trains also run regularly to the nearby station Vinstra, where pick-up can be arranged.

Summer activities include hiking, fishing, swimming, mountain biking, canoeing, horse back riding and a tree top adventure park.
