Dedicated owners of the hotel outperform in hospitality. Hotel is located in the beautiful natural surroundings of Ljørdalen. Hiking and biking opportunities and close to Fulufjallets National Park. The Hotel offers a warm and cozy atmosphere, is relaxing to stay and very clean rooms. Private and secure car parking. Last but not least the kitchen is outstanding! Just excellent!

Our welcoming was very warm! We were served with coffee and pancakes on the house. Our room was very nice. By reserving the accommodation we thought we should have our own bed linen but that wasn´t the case - everything was ready for our stay. In addition we were offered sauna and hot tub, good relaxation after ten hours travelling and good preparation for skiing in Vasaloppet. We also got very early and hefty breakfast. Despite quite remote location, it was easy to get to the starting point of Vasaloppet because of less traffic from this direction. Atmosphere in Villa Fregn was very cozy and host is really friendly. This place is "pearl in wilderness"!

We were spoiled from A to Z by the excellent hosts. We enjoyed fantastic and varied diners during our stay. It’s really cosy inside with the fireplace. Breakfast was plentiful and could be selected beforehand from many different options. The sauna & hot tub were already heated by the time we got back from our walks, or to be enjoyed after dinner time. No light pollution meant an extraordinary starry sky. You can even cool off in the river if you dare. The room and bathroom are spotless clean. Comfy beds and a quiet surrounding. The area has a lot of activities to offer, summer and winter time.

The Villa Fregn is simply fantastic. We were welcomed by hosts who were so warm and friendly like never before. The hosts have thought of every little detail. The evening dinner is absolutely recommended with local products. Breakfast was also fantastic with homemade cinnamon buns. The hosts have realized their dream by opening Villa Fregn, and you can feel it when staying there.

Villa Fregn is just an amazing and cosy place to stay surrounded by the most fantastic nature. The food is out of this world, and the people make you feel like a part of their family. The facilities are great as well. It is a perfect starting point for hikes long or short where it lies on the border to Fulufjellet National Park. You find easy family-friendly walks as well as challenging ones. They provide a lot of activities like guided fly fishing, packrafting (white water and easy ones), guided hikes. In the winter, there is dog sledging, snow scooter trips and something called moonbike. Must come back in the winter break 🤩
