Our apartments are new and freshly furnished with an European fresh style mixed with a nepalese touch. The building is new: it has been built after the earthquake and it’s earthquake proof. We are located at a15-minute easy walk from Thamel, that you’d like to visit but not to sleep as it’s the crazy noisy and busy center. We are a little oasis of peace in Lazimpat, very close to the British Embassy, far enough from the noisy roads. The access to the building it’s not easy (see the instructions – link to them) on the first time you are arriving, but you will easily learn how to get here, as once inside it’s really worthwhile. We can at any moment come and pick you up at the airport or arrange taxi to let you go anywhere. Last but not least, in our building there’s no elevator. Rooms are located at ground, first, second and third floors. We always help you into bringing up and down your luggage, so you don’t need to worry about it. By the way you will be highly motivated to rise up to the fifth floor as we are very proud of offering you a wonderful relax space in the one that is probably the best roof top terrace in Kathmandu.
We are Luis & Samjhana, a young couple of globe trotters whose main passion is travel. We live in Switzerland but as Samjhana is Nepalese, we decided to settle our second home in Kathmandu. Our philosophy is having you as our personal guest, and this is possible as is Samjhana’s family who runs the apartment. We tried to condensate the best experiences we had during our travels into our hospitality experience. We hope you will feel at your place during your staying and we wish you a warm welcome to Nepal! Very likely we won't be present during your staying as it's our nepalese family that takes care of our guests, like if they are at our home (actually you are, just with your private apartment). A local travel agency work with us and Yam, the manager, can help you to manage your cultural and trekking experiences.
