The rooms are spacious with a coffee table seating and a small dining table. The bathroom is quite spacious and the jacuzzi is just amazing after a long day. The view outside is scenic and beautiful. Very ideally located and the main street is a 5 min drive.

The room was spacious and clean with a great outlook of the garden. The location, whilst a few minutes out of Franz Joseph, was quiet and relaxing. Lastly, the team looked after us and was most helpful given the turn of events due to the recent COVID crisis. On our last day they assisted with providing breakfast prior to our long drive back to Christchurch. Thanks.

We stayed here for one night when we were passing through Franz Josef. This hotel is a few km's south of town, but if you're travelling by car that is not an issue at all. It is quiet, the view of the mountains is great and the property is pretty new. We were in room 17, which is one of 4 rooms (nr 17 to 20) that were only commissioned 4 years ago. And it shows. Everything looks and feels brand new. The room is airconditioned with an efficient heatpump system (just rooms 17 to 20, rooms 1 through 16 do not have aircon). The beds are the best we experienced in New Zealand and everything you need is in the room. I particularly liked the fixed sofabed to just relax on and do some reading. Breakfast is just continental, but it is very good. Nice break, cheeses, cooked eggs, juice, etc.
