Secluded & cosy ‘off-grid’ camping pod overlooking the Hokitika River, right next to the West Coast Wilderness cycling trail. Located in a private setting you have the space to yourselves. Equipped with an outdoor hot shower, camp style kitchen with running water. There is no power or wifi so you can enjoy the natural surroundings. So sit back and enjoy the glorious West Coast sunsets. Located only 3km from Hokitika town and beach and 3km from the airport. The space This is a Norwegian Pod that is very insulated designed for Alpine temperatures. It contains one small bedroom with King sized bed, small living area with couch, chairs and table in side. There is a covered outdoor kitchen with a gas camping stove, running cold water, and all cooking items are provided. The hot water shower is nestled in the native bush, that is down stairs and covered and very private. We provide a porta loo right next to the pod. There is no power or wifi but plenty of solar and battery operated lighting onsite. A small fire pit and outdoor furniture for you to sit back and enjoy the views. We allow pets outside as long as you clean up after them and keep them tethered.
