This delightful apartment, ‘motelish’ in layout, enjoys a superb absolute beachfront position in the middle of the southern family-friendly end of Whangamata beach – awarded “New Zealand’s Best Beach 2017”. A full internal renovation was completed in late 2018, and the space is best described as ‘small but perfectly formed’. The second bedroom comprises single bunks one above the other, so the unit is most ideally suited to a couple or parent with one or two kids up to early teens. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
