I very enjoy the peaceful life in Lake Tekapo, hiking at Mount John and have a coffee at the top of the mountain, life could be so slow, most excited thing is observe the star in the night, photograph stars very often. best luxury, romantic, or retro 70's style accommodation that Tekapo has to offer.

Located at the gorgeous lakefront, the old and elegant house- Starry Unit has been situated there since 1929.It is one of the town’s original properties which is luxuriously decorated with nostalgic feeling inside. The vintage décor along with the newly renovated breakfast bar make a perfect combination of “modern and rustic”. Looking from the large glass windows in the living area, you can view the turquoise-blue lake and majestic south Alpine mountains right at your front. Apart from the million-dollars view, Starry Unit also provides you with great convenience. Short walk distance to the Church of Good Shepherd and Tekapo village centre where you can find different shops, restaurants and an array of outdoor activities. Starry unit offers two bedrooms, one bathroom, a breakfast bar and separate living and dining area. The booking starts with 2 people. If you would like to use our breakfast bar, please remember: simple cook only.
