Lhoren and her family are very welcoming, they took care of us and were very helpful for tips on how to get around and treks. She also cooks very good food. We booked a guide with her and he was amazing, same for the transfer from/to Banaue. Everything was wonderful about our stay, only positive things to say. The view from the rooftop is beautiful. Lhoren is very welcoming, she treated us almost like our kids. Don't expect luxury of course but her home is quite lovely, mostly wooden. Also, what she cooks is delicious, so even if you don't sleep at her place it's worth stopping for eating or drinking something.

Beautiful homestay close to the Batad rice terraces. We got a room with a view to the terraces, the beds felt comfortable (they have anti-mosquito net) and hot shower was available in the bathroom. Lhoren is so friendly and prepares great food for reasonable prices.

Staying at Lhoren's was a treat. She was great to talk to and very good cook. She also helped with a lot of arrangements (guide, tricycle, etc). The accomodation is extremely basic, you only get a bed in your room but sleeping is the only thing you'll be doing indoors anyway. The view from the top terrace is breathtaking and there's a shop rather close, just 30 stairs away (there aren't many in the village so that is a plus).

Lhoren and her family are welcoming and helpful. Lhoren is amazing, she can satisfy any need you may have. We extended our stay because we felt like home. The place is located in a beautiful village with stunning views and amazing people. You can book transport or tours with her and she also provides good food, the breakfast is delicious. Be prepared for some stairs to get there but the effort is more than worth it. You can also do nice treks and visit an impressive waterfall. Lhorens also taught us how to pound rice and it was a good an experience that made us aware how much effort it takes to cultivate and obtain some rice. The whole stay was simply perfect!!! Would highly recommend it

Homestay at Lhorens place in Batad village was amazing. House in the hillside of rice terraces has simple, but cozy rooms, with beatiful views on the rooftop. The way to the house is not easy for someone (20 mins walk down the hill from the road end), travellers should be aware, that this is not typical tourist destination and some physical condition is needed. Lhoren and her family were very welcoming and friendly. Accommodation, food and other services met our expectations. Transport services from/to Banaue, other places were offered and used. Highly recommended.
