"Treetops" is a peaceful home away from home from home nestled in the cooler foothills of Mount Talinis, just 700 meters from Valencia proper and a fifteen minute motorcycle or jeepney ride from Dumaguete. All our units are equipped with air conditioning, full cooking facilities, crockery and tableware, cable TV, reliable high-speed PLDT fiber internet and hot and cold showers. We also have motorcycles available for rent for guests without their own transportation and offer transfer services using the property's seven-seater SUV to the local transportation hubs (pier, bus terminal or airport).

An added bonus to hosting is the fact that many of our former guests have returned to live permanently in Valencia and have become firm friends since. As my husband and I both live on-site we are always available to address your needs 24/7 and make your stay a comfortable, memorable and happy one. We are also more than happy to give newcomers to Valencia an orientation tour on arrival to help them get their bearings and familiarize themselves with the local markets, convenience stores and dining options.

Valencia is the main starting point for hikes to Mount Talinis volcano and the numerous waterfalls and hot and cold springs for which the area is famous. An added bonus is the more amenable climate, particularly in the evenings, when compared to the heat and dust of the "big" city of Dumaguete close by!
