Bialystok is a really lovely city.
Bialystok is a really lovely city. Lots of parks, free mini zoo in one of them. There is a palace with nice walking grounds. Everything is quite compact since Bialystok is not very big. Yet there is enough to see for at least a full day visit. Probably more if you want to go to museums, visit the palace, spend some time in one of old town Cafe and so on. Beautiful old town, but very small. It will take you at most an hour here. It is not possible to see the Branicki Palace from the inside, entry to the museum is only for cash. Very beautiful city with all the amenities of a big city but the peacefulness and slower pace of a smaller town. Amazing Park Branickich with its palace and gardens. Main Street closed off to car traffic to allow for a chillout cafe / restaurants experience by the Ratusz.
