Company info

We are excited about the opportunity to provide such a place to visitors. After extensive travels through western Europe, we always tried to find properties with a story, tastefully decorated and renovated, with lush natural surroundings. Our place is the result of such observations and experiences and we continuously working on adding to the quality of every stay at Pischkowitz. We stay away from mass-produced building materials, furnishings and food. We believe in re-using recycling and up-cycling as our small contribution to a fight against climate change. We love animals, nature and we protect it by keeping trees whenever possible, staying away from toxic chemicals in the garden or in the house. Our property is an Adults-Only, quiet and respectful refuge from the daily noises and we welcome guests at least 11 years of age, well behaved non-aggressive and non-barking dogs. We ask loud motorbikes owners of considering other properties in the neighborhood.

Property info

Sitting on a site of a medieval defensive hill fort, this 1722 baroque chateau is like no other property in the region as it dominates the landscape of the beautiful Glatz Valley. Lovingly restored in authentic historical style, furnished with antiques and real art the house offers a luxurious time travel opportunity to any romantical soul out there.

Neighborhood info

The Glatz Valley has a long and interesting history and was administered by the Czechs, Prussians, Germans and Poles in its 1000+ long history. An area not quite Silesia, Not quite Bohemia, and only very briefly polish, it offers a melting pot of cultural heritage in its many castles, churches and picturesque spa towns. There are quite demanding hiking mountains in the area as well as gentle hills to explore. For cyclists there are many tracks that follow rivers allowing for very easy sightseeing on two wheels. Of course skiing in the winter and river rafting in the summer are other very populat activities here.
