Fully furnished cozy apartment with all commodities. Modern and nice decoration. Quiet area. Great sea view. The apartment is close (250 m) to a beautiful 9 km beach of golden sands and a turquoise sea. It is also near (500 m) to the center of Vila Baleira, the capital of the island. Description: Lounge with sofa; 40” wide screen TV with more than 100 channels, DVD player with several DVD films, FREE Wireless Internet. Balcony with two wood armchairs to admire a wonderful panoramic sea view. Bedroom with queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm), two bedside tables, large fitted wardrobe and balcony with sea view. American style kitchen in granite, fully equipped: fridge freezer, stove, oven, washing machine, microwave, iron, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishes, utensils and all cooking utensils Bathroom with bath, bidet, toilets and granite topped vanity. In the apartment you will find a documentation concerning a selection of restaurants and activities All bed linen and towels are supplied. jTHE ISLAND Porto Santo is a small quiet island being a part of the Madeira archipelago 43 km (27 mi) northeast of Madeira Island in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is 14 km (9 mi) length and 8 km (5 MI) width. Porto Santo is mostly a beautiful 9 km of golden soft sands. Even during the summer months there is always enough room for everyone and you will always be able to find a quiet place if that is what you wish. The turquoise seas are safe for swimming. There are some beach bars and cafes along the beach line. You can simply enjoy this beautiful beach but also practice any the several activities proposed: sailing, surf, windsurfs and much more. The island's name Porto Santo (lit. "Holy Harbour") was derived from the sailors' stories of their discovery of a sheltered bay during a tempest. Christopher Columbus Museum: In the alley behind the church of Nossa Sehora da Piedade, is the house reputedly once occupied by the famous explorer Christopher Columbus when we was married to Filipa Moniz, daughter of the founder of Porto Santo.
