Located in a renovated building, the Guest Inn offers a local experience in the center of bustling Alfama. You'll find Lisbon's most typical and historic neighborhood, with Fado Museum, National Pantheon and other historic sites just a few steps away. There are also several bars and restaurants nearby. Due to the existence of a local bar in front of the property, we do not recommend it for people sensitive to noise. Enjoy bright and lively Lisbon! The apartment is located in the area where the annual Santos Populares festivities take place during the month of June. Furthermore, Alfama is a very busy tourist area, so noise is to be expected, especially at the weekend. In the street of the building, there is only pedestrian circulation, however, the road is just a few meters away (about 2 minutes on foot). Located on the ground floor, with entrance directly from the street, the apartment is in one of the most traditional streets of Alfama. The apartment is opposite a local bar (noise can be expected!) and is divided by an interesting brick arch that makes it even more rustic and welcoming. It is ideal for couples looking to spend a few pleasant days in Lisbon, with all the city's main attractions and amazing viewpoints within walking distance. The apartment has a comfortable fold-out double sofa bed, a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. The apartment has a bathroom with a shower. The kitchenette is fully equipped with fridge, iron, microwave and coffee maker (coffee not included). During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.

Ongoing nearby construction works, with no timetable for completion. Of all Lisbon's neighborhoods, Alfama is the most fascinating. This is the oldest neighborhood in the city, with its narrow winding streets steeped in history, they are a joy to explore, with stunning views over the top of Lisbon's highest hill. Barring only part of the devastation of the 1755 earthquake, Alfama was the Moorish part of the capital. Now, it has the charm, soul, atmosphere and small-town quality you dream of. Renovated houses are great deals and many of them have wonderful river views. Alfama is centrally located in Lisbon, and many attractions, shops, and restaurants are within walking distance. Explore the area on foot and discover the charm of the nearby streets and sights. The nearest metro station is Santa Apolónia, which is a short walk away. From there, you can easily access different parts of the city using the metro or bus to explore further. One of the closest stops is on Rua São Tomé, on Tram 28. This popular tram passes through some of Lisbon's most iconic neighborhoods and attractions. The nearest bus stop is on Rua dos Remédios, a short walk from the apartment. These stops serve several lines that can take you to different destinations within the city. Please note that there is no free parking in the area. The nearest parking is "Parque de Combate de Santa Apolónia", located in Largo das Olarias, approximately 5 minutes walking from the apartment. This car park is conveniently located next to the Santa Apolónia train and metro station.
