There are numerous supermarkets, mini-markets and a good selection of shops. There are good local transport links by train and bus to the rest of Algarve and to Lisbon. Lagos Zoo is also only a 10- to 15-minute drive away with the monkey islands being a great favourite with children. For the keen golfers there are 40 golf courses in the Algarve, of which 10 can be found within a 30-minute drive of the apartment. The nearest, Boavista, has 18 holes and is just a 5-minute drive away. From Lagos marina you can take daily boat trips to the sea caves, dolphin watching trips, sea kayaking, paddle boarding, deep sea fishing or hire a yacht for the day.
