We built the first Kolarkojan in 2019 and the second in 2022. We built these as a historical memory to preserve the history that the Kolarkojas carry, about how in the olden days people worked as charcoal burners in the forest and produced coal. We also want to give guests a luxurious glamping experience with nature, each other and outdoor life in focus.

What guests appreciate with us is the relaxed environment, nature and the peace of the forest. Inside the hut it is cool, but the stove provides good and cozy warmth from the fire. The food is cooked over an open fire by the guests and often becomes a valued activity to do together.

approx. 500 m from Kolarkojan there is a hunting tower on a marsh where you can sit and look at the view of nature. 3 km from Kolarkojan is the nearest lake. Jönköping, where many tourist attractions, museums and restaurants are offered, is about 3 miles.
