Charming apartment rurally located on the Vildmarksvägen in Jämtland Sweden. A perfect place to relax after a day of outdoor activities.
We are a family of 3 and moved from the Netherlands to Sweden in 2022. We have a passion for nature, good food and love to be active in the outdoors. We want to show our quests the beautiful Sweden and off course can help you to find cool activities to do in the summer and winter! There is also the option to reserve a meal if you do not feel like cooking, we have our own organic vegetables.
Gubbhögen is located in the province of Jämtland on the famous Vildmarksvägen. Jämtland is a region with majestic landscapes, rich culture and sustainable gastronomy. It is a paradise for hikers and cyclists, with the best winter sports opportunities in Sweden. Our house is directly located on a snowmobile path and within walking distance of the lake, with various options for activities such as: swimming, hiking, fishing, cycling, cross-country skiing, scootering, etc. In the autumn you can go for a walk in the forest and find various mushrooms and berries, if you are lucky you can even spot a reindeer, moose or fox. At the right time you can also enjoy the northern lights.
