Company info

Our journey started in the beginning of 2023 when we decided to follow our dream and buy our own place in Sweden. After visiting Gopshusgården we immediately fell in love with this location . Impressed by the natural surroundings and endless possibilities we decided to leave everything behind in the Netherlands. We quit our jobs, sold our house and moved to Sweden to start a new life with our daughter and cats. We love baking and cooking and participate in sports. We want to welcome everyone and hope you all enjoy your stay.

Gopshusgården is a cozy accommodation in the middle of Sweden. For those who love to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature. It’s the perfect place to participate in every kind of outdoor activities. The famous Vasaloppet trail with all of its events finds its way directly through our garden. We can accommodate 37 guests in our lovely establishment, with four beds in four cottages and 7 rooms of different sizes in the main building. The rooms are small, but just enough to get a good rest and get out in the nature. We offer a great continental breakfast, lunch (also to-go), and a homemade dinner.

Gopshus is a small village located next to Mora in the Swedish province Dalarnas Län. This region is well-known for its typical Swedish culture and nature, whether it’s the red houses or the endless green forests. There are a lot of options to go outside for sports, hiking, but also a lot of touristic activities.
