Fünf Tage konnte ich in Hammarstrand, Jämtland verbringen und muss sagen, dass es sicherlich der Highlight meiner bisherigen Urlaubsreisen war. Schweden bietet atemberaubende Szenerien, besonders im Winter. In Hammarstrand kann man ebenfalls viele Orte besuchen, welche man im Umkreis von ca. 30-60 min zu Fuß erreichen kann. Genauso wie Einkaufs- oder Tankmöglichkeiten. In der Stuga, welcher bei meiner Ankunft äußerst sauber war, fehlt es an nichts. Trotz der ziemlich tiefen Temperaturen konnte die Stuga warmgehalten werden. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich, was ich hier gerne hervorheben möchte. Ich hatte sehr gute fünf Tage in der Stuga und hoffe irgendwann wiederkommen zu können.

We are Rob and Brenda and have a passion for Sweden. We are proud owners of Hammarstrands Camping. We manage several houses in the beautiful Ragunda valley where you can enjoy the silence of beautiful Sweden. Hospitality is our top priority, but we also find time for each other important and enjoy the walks with our dog Max. Come and enjoy Sweden.

Property info

a hundred metres from Hammarstrands Camping on the river Indalsälven, we have a cosy luxury cabin for four people. This luxury cabin has two comfortable beds, a spacious sofa bed for another two people, a coffee table, a dining area, a TV and a cosy sitting area on the veranda. Next to the log cabin is a small log cabin for another three people, this log cabin also has electricity and a stove, this log cabin is not available in winter and can be rented separately. The luxury cottage has a full kitchen with oven, hotplates, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. There is also a full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. All this is surrounded by a large garden and you can enjoy the peace and nature around you. Bed linen is compulsory. We rent bed linen and towels, but you can also use your own. The stuga needs to be cleaned before departure, we can also do this for you for a small fee, but you can also do this yourself. Arrival after 15:00 and departure before 12:00.

Ragunda Old Church This wooden church with its beautiful ceiling and walls is worth visiting more than 1364. Near the church the Hembygdsgarden there are regular exposieties about culture, school, gardens this Hembygdsgarden is for all ages. The Krangede Museum in this museum shows you how people used to work and what kind of resources there are beautiful paintings and you can do a Fika. Döda Fallet (the dead waterfall) is 12 kilometers from the campsite. At 5 minutes from the campsite you are in the ski resort Kullstabacken of Hammarstrand. In the vicinity of Kullstabacken you will find everything you need. The drop height is 220 meters and there is a ski school, ski hire and cafeteria. For families with children, this ski slope is an excellent option, as it is nicer and a bit quieter! 3 varied slopes and a children's slope with a varied offer and beautiful views. Longest run is 1200m with 220m height difference. The Thai pavilion is 25 kilometers away. The magic begins far away in an unknown place, but it takes you to a beautiful Swedish village, like a wonderland of itself. 10,000 kilometers away
