Amazing place. A whole school just for us. Huge garden, a gym with all sports equipment one can dream of. Kids loved it, what can one want more?

Very nice place, a spacious kitchen equipped with all the necessary equipment (fridges, cooker, oven, microwave, coffee machine, even a blender :)) / a beautiful and large library where you can spend time pleasantly / unlimited access to the gym and all the sport equipment such as balls, ropes, mattresses, rackets, etc. / the host very nice and helpful / the hostel very very very clean. We stayed only two nights but the place is also great for a longer stay.

Best family friendly hostel I've stayed at. It's an old school, our bedroom was half a classroom -- great play facilities and gymnasium and very spacious kitchen and common areas. The association that runs it really care about their community and keeping the building alive and take a lot of pride in creating a great experience. A very lovely place to stay and well located for Astrid Lingrens world. Don't miss visiting the nearby church, a fantastic piece of architecture!

Great place for families, being an old school. The kids loved the outside area and the gym hall that they could freely use. Very quiet location. Short drive to Bullarbyn and also Vimmerby. The school and the village have an interesting history. Fun fact: Astrid Lindgren's parents got married in the old church near the school.

Das beste Hotel was ich je hatte in meinem 55 jährigem Leben! Die Ruhe, die Freundlichkeit, das Umfeld, die Gestaltung, der Hintergrund, alles das war sehr schön zu erleben. Kein Gehetze, kein Stress nur entspannte Leute. Der dörfliche Charakter dazu hat es perfekt gemacht. Für Familien mit Kindern sehr zu empfehlen, es gibt viel Platz zum Toben im Haus, auf dem gelände und eine große Schulsporthalle ist auch in dem Haus, die man mit benutzen darf. Man kann Hockey drin spielen, klettern oder wie mein Sohn, Drohne drin fliegen lassen. Bei schlechtem Wetter sehr optimal. Auch der Aufenthaltsraum war sehr groß und gemütlich mit vielen gemütlichen Sitzecken und trotzdem noch genug Platz zum Toben oder um ein ferngesteuertes Auto fahren zu lassen, wie es auch hier mein Sohn gemacht hat.

È stato molto bello alloggiare in una ex scuola, sicuramente esperienza molto particolare! Camere spaziose e pulite. Parti in comune sempre pulite anche perché l'ostello ospita solo 4 camere quindi non è mai troppo affollato. Molto spazio per giocare, mio figlio ha adorato avere una palestra tutta per lui! Disponibili anche tanti libri per grandi e piccoli, chiaramente in svedese! Il gestore molto disponibile! È stato un piacere essere i primi italiani ad avere alloggiato li!

Die Sporthalle war der Hit. Wir konnten hier abends noch toben und die Basketball Körbe nutzen. Da wir das vorher wussten, haben wir Bälle mitgenommen. Die Bälle dort sind leider nicht vollständig aufgepumpt. Im Keller gibt es einen Flohmarkt und die Kinder kamen sich wie in einer Schatzkammer vor. Sehr gute Lage Einfach mal ein außergewöhnlicher Ort.

Die Übernachtung in der alten Schule mit Klassenraum und Turnsaal, der vor allem für die Kinder ein absolutes Highlight darstellte, ist ein tolles Erlebnis. Ruhige Lage mit der Möglichkeit für schöne Spaziergänge. Voll ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche, so dass man sich mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch kommt. Da es nur recht wenige Wohn-Einheiten gibt, war es kein Problem, dass Dusche und WC auch gemeinschaftlich genutzt werden.

Eine ganze Schule mit toller Turnhalle... absolut einmalig. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Und für Ausflüge rund um Astrid Lindgren perfekt gelegen. Ein Verein kümmert sich liebevoll um alles und wir wurden nett betreut.
