Located a few km from the tourist center at the High Coast Bridge. During Wintertime the area offers ideal skiing and fishing possibilities close by for the whole family, with an average temperature that makes it perfect for skiing. Nearby are two ski slopes and one full ski resort with short or no queues, plus cross country tracks and ice skating. Another lake at walking distance offers popular ice pimp fishing, the path turns in the winter into a snow mobile trail.

Skidåkningsvänlig medeltemperatur hela vintern. Längdskidspår, skridskobanor och utförsbackar utan köer nås med bil inom en timme. Vårdkasbacken t ex i Härnösand har havsutsikt, och på Hallstaberget i Sollefteå tränar proffsskidåkare. Längdskidor och pulka finns i stugan. Pimpelfiske finns på gångavstånd, se bilder.
