Only for campers with own tents! We invite all camping lovers to the garden of the Scout House right in the center of Banská Štiavnica. Places for tents are located on the slope under the walls of the Old Castle. All this is enhanced by a beautiful view of the city. In the garden there is a fireplace, gazebo, kitchenette, toilets and showers, which we built in 2024. In case of emergency, it is possible to use the premises of Skaustký dom. Parking is possible directly in the area (but not immediately next to the tent). We believe that you will have a wonderful experience and fond memories of your stay with us.
We recommend you to visit the museums (especially the Old Castle), the Calvary, the Geoclub quarry, the falconers at the Elementary School in Štiavnické Bany, the lakes (with the possibility of swimming). It is possible to go hiking (Sitno, Štiavnické vrchy), visit the Glanzenberg archaeological site, go horseback riding, or visit creative workshops in the Kammerhof Museum with children. Last but not least, there is always something going on in Banská Štiavnica - concerts, shows, events such as Live Chess, the Salamander Parade and many others.
