Villa Ty Milyn is a haven of peace amidst the noise and activity of Dakar. You'll be staying in someone's house but in your own room with attached private bathroom. The room was very big and clean, best Wi-Fi in Senegal, cold A/C, . simple but fresh breakfast (bread, jam, butter, some fruit, coffee or tea). Quiet house and location. The host Maguette was friendly and helpful. I also briefly met the rest of the family, the husband organizes bike tours around the country, do inquire about it if you are interested :) Night guard at the front door, bars on room windows, staff present at all times in the house for questions. It was possible to leave my luggage in the living room after checking out in the morning. I would recommend anyone to stay at Villa Milyn. Can't beat the value for sure. When taking taxis, indicate "Yoff - Virage" to your driver, then guide them to your destination.
