男主人取得美國大學環境工程博士後，任教國內大學環境工程系23年後退休，
女主人是英文教師。
位於阿里山半山腰龍美地區的麻竹湖步道旁，民宿庭院即可觀看日出，後方步道頂可觀賞夕陽美景。
