Everything was great, BUT, I ended up not staying at Nungwi beach. When I arrived they didn't allow the taxi to get in saying Nungwi inn was closed for renovations and would only open in a few months. This was April, I booked in January and haven't received any information about this changed. I called the number showing at booking.com and after some back and forth I was finally given a room at its sister hotel Sanders, which was great!!

Good breakfast with fresh fruits, not bad coffee, tasty, just for you prepared omelet and/or pancakes! During a day time you can order a good espresso macchiato! Beach just 10 meters from your hotel restaurant. Tables during the dinner - even more closer to the water! Gard of the hotel takes care that your staff is safe under the beach umbrella, and cares that local guys would not disturb you too much with their proposals to buy something.

The hotel arranged the airport pickup fullfilling all our requests. We were also able to checkin early at 6:00AM for no extra charge which was excelent after night long flight. The beach is one of the best beaches on the island with white sand 24/7 and water, also at low tide still able to swim. The guards on beach do not allow beach boys to disturb your rest at hotel beds. The beds are for free and good including beach towels.

Impressive vacation! Excellent location, coziness, cleanliness and tranquility, varied breakfast. Terrace overlooking the ocean, literally a minute to it, free two sunbeds and an umbrella for the whole day. A clean beach with white sand and round-the-clock security. Bar and romantic restaurant by the waves. And there are plenty of restaurants around, on terraces overlooking the ocean. In the evening on the beaches there are all kinds of entertainment and attractions. Authentic Maasai boys. There are 3 long avenues nearby with all kinds of souvenirs and boutique.

rather middle to lower middle class accommodation in terms of equipment. But the bed is comfortable, the pillow is soft, clean, quiet, well-functioning air conditioning and fan and in an absolutely perfect location - which was the main reason why we chose the accommodation and it did not disappoint us in the slightest! We were very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast! Very tasty and a decent selection for this category. And the ocean view! Sunbeds, which are reserved for hotel guests right on the beach, are a huge asset. No beachboy dares to cross the imaginary line, he would be immediately expelled by the ever-present security. And believe me, you will really appreciate it! That's why we weren't so afraid of leaving our phone or some money in our bag. The entire complex is guarded, and even us as white tourists - were regularly asked if we lived there and what our room number was. Great value for money!
